I've never been suicidal, but I've thought about the possibility of it. Strangely, it kind of boosts my mood to think that my life is in fact in my own hands. It's empowering to think that I'm not alive because I have to be but because I want to be. It reminds me that while I have a functioning body and mind there are so many things I could do. Being alive not by default but as a positive choice, I like that :)
Probably once in a month if not a bit more. Not usually in a depressive sense, just in a purely hypothetical way. Like "If I killed myself right now, what would happen?".
Every day. I find the existence of humanity to be absolutely pointless & rather more harmful to the existence of Earth & its ecology. So rather I constantly think of suicide I these thoughts have lead me to lose all desire in life & rather I see it as a void a prison to say in which are trapped to live meaningless live in a feudal attempt to find a so called "meaning".
A few times a week. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with my life. I'm not depressed, thing have really been working my way the last few years.
Just like this idea of dying, a kind of "memento mori" if you will.
I used to think of it almost every day for a couple of months when I was working. The private sector sucks
i think it's normal but i dont think most people do it...i used to think of suicide everyday, several times a day so i made a list of reasons to live (not only goals lol) and every time i feel suicidal i just think of how stupid im being.
cant accurately say how often i think of it but if i had to i'd say once a month i guess
A couple of times a week. I imagine this is pretty normal, although I'm sure there'll be someone who disagrees. When I was going through a particularly rough patch, it was very many times per day. Things are better now.
I don't think there will be a calendar month for the rest of my life where I don't think about it at least once.
