We can leave IIN?o_0 I spend every second of every day here. Commenting, reading, waiting...
:P Nah, I don't know exactly. I usually only come here in short bursts. I don't tend to linger long. Although, I've been on the site for like 20 minutes today already, not in short bursts. It depends.
I log in the moment I arrive at work and log out when I go home. I don't visit on weekends. On most days I just let the page open and don't even bother to read the stories and on other days, like today I feel I could read the entire IIN site.
I've been here too long, I've grown far too attached to this place and far, far too attached to the people here. I need to get out while I still can, but I'm trying to do it gently. A slow reduction in time here, no sudden melodramatic exits. I was never very good at tearing off plasters in one go.
If I do eventually stop coming here entirely, you'll be one of the people I'll miss most, banana.
Aww:(. It's incredibly easy to forget this place when you aren't a part of the community, so I hope you do remember to come back, because I'd miss you very much if you didn't.
My time spent here usually goes down at this time in the year as well, because of school (this time last year was when I had my first break). I like the site too much right now to leave, though.:/ Probably not a good thing. But you leaving seems sort of strange, because you never really seem to take breaks from IIN. Either way, I hope you're alright, and that nothing's wrong.:( Aww.
I know I won't forget this place if I leave it, and I promise I'll come back when I feel like I can trust myself to be here. I know I'm sounding incredibly cryptic, but sometimes the way I interact with people here - and the way I feel about people here - have started to affect my real life in a couple of ways I couldn't really predict. The upshot of that is a choice between my real life and IIN, and I feel like it's best for everyone if I choose my real life for now, and come back to IIN in earnest when I feel like I'm in a place where the way I conduct myself here won't have a net negative impact on my real life. I might not need to stop coming to IIN entirely, just change the way I use it and the amount of time I spend on it.
But whatever happens, I won't forget it and I won't forget you or anyone else here :)
Oh, that doesn't sound good.:S But you clearly aren't the only one, given that virtually all of the comments on this post are about the people here using the site "too much". I left for like a month and a half, a few months ago for similar reasons. Something else works for me, and I feel a good level of detached now, but I hope a break works for you:)! I definitely understand the feeling, though. It's not a good one.:/
Haha, only slightly cryptic:P. I'm starting to wonder whether there's some sort of IIN Mafia, who are respnsible for all the good users leaving recently. There's not, is there:O?! Actually, don't tell me! I don't want them after me! Not that they exist, heh.o_0
