A first world problem is when you take for granted things that many in this world have to work hard to obtain. Picky eaters are insulting to those who cannot afford to have a choice.

Picky in that the source is very important and I don't eat prepackaged processed type foods. I like cheese but I hate the dairy industry so I limit it. I'm pretty strict with food but once in a while I say 'fuck it' and have whatever, especially if I am a guest, I won't be a snob, I'll just have what's offered.

I find picky eaters annoying.. And picky people in general.

I eat/try pretty much anything. Sometimes if I make something and it doesn't taste great, I still eat it so as to not be wasteful. Such a huge contrast to when I was a teen.

I'll probably never try insects though, and certain other delicacies. or dishes like Black Pudding that just look/smell disgusting.

If you haven't tried it, how would you know if you liked it or not?
There's only a hand full of things I wouldn't eat again, and most of those are because of their texture, not taste. A few like tripe, have absolutely no nutritional value, so I see no reason at all to eat them.
Eating from local roadside venders around the world, I have no doubt that I've eaten many things which I would not choose, if given a choice (like cat, dog, monkey, etc). However, I sincerely believe that if I enjoyed a meal, a 'don't ask, don't tell' policy is must.
