How much money would it take for you to kill another human being (exclude the police here, we are just talking about the moral side of the case, not the criminal one). Does it make a difference if they are male/female, related to you or not, old/young?

My grammar isn't fantastic but I try to text & type how I talk. Because this is true, I'm not going to say "OFFS!" in place of "Oh, for fuck's sake." Plus, I don't care for cutesy talk (type & text, included) & I appreciate profanity in all it's splendor.
Why destroy it by cutting it short with abbreviations & other such nonsense?
However, I did think of a way I wouldn't mind using "OFFS":

It 100% depends on who the person is. I could kill a certain person for no money, or i wouldn't kill another person for any money.
There isn't any amount of money that would make me bring down the curtain on the only existence another person will ever have.
thousands of "soldiers" kill multiple people for less than 2k a month. Our world is full of cheap mercenaries.
I wouldn't kill anyone for money.
But if the person I was killing was a convicted child killer/rapist I would eradicate them for free.

Because I'm feeling in a philosphical mood right now, probably because it is past midnight, I'll give this some serious consideration.
Who am I killing? Is it someone who could do a lot of good in the world? Could this person raise, for example, $100000 for charity? If given the chance, would they? Could I do the world the greater good by killing an innocent person? And, to what extent is it worth it?
Let's use some semi-fictional figures here. Arguably the most cost-efficient way to benefit the world is to save a life for $10 dollars (yes, $10) with malaria nets for kids in Africa. For $100000, that is 10000 nets. Now I don't know how realistic this next bit is, but imagine about 50% of those kids would have caught malaria and consequently died. I have saved 5000 lives of innocents by sacrificing 1 innocent elsewhere.
Is it worth it? I really don't know. Would I sacrifice myself? What if the person, upon hearing of my quest, offerred their life? Would it then be morally just to take it?
Think about it from a different angle. Does anyone have the right to take the life of another human being, the only life they will ever have? What if a stranger walked up to you and killed you, or a member of your family, no explanation given? Would this make you feel any different? Is it ever right to take another life? By not doing it, am I indirectly murdering 5000 African children? Do I hold moral responsibilty for their deaths? Could I earn the money to save those kids in a morally acceptable way? Could my innocent victim save those kids in a morally acceptable way?
God, I really do not want to make a judgement here, but I feel compelled to after writing all of that. I think I would do it, for as little as $10000, so long as I would have legal immunity. I would still have 50:1 "life/death ratio", which is more than most people will ever achieve. It would still bother me, though, that I could have done something to save those kids without killing anyone. I like to think that, at some point in my life, that is what I will do.
I think I would be more happy killing someone who I know shares the same view as myself on this, and would be happy to make the ultimate sacrifice. Maybe a close friend or a family member I would feel *more* comfortable killing than a random stranger? Who's to know until you put the gun in my hand and the money in the suitcase what I would do? Even I don't know what I'd do.

I could kill in self defense,defense of my family or service of my country but murder for hire is a different story. I'd like to say I could never do it but I can't say that will any certainty. How far could I be pushed to go if I was desperate ? I have no idea. I think murder for hire isn't outside of the realm of possibility as far as I'm concerned but I could never kill without the belief that I was correcting a great wrong or injustice or somehow serving the greater good. When you get to this point however you have to consider wether any body has the right to decide who lives or dies even if you take into consideration the merits and misdeeds of thier lives. You can't play god....
why don't you just kill for free? Murder a bunch of ppl one day and take a flight to another country the next.

Actually the literal,accurate translation is Thou shall not commit murder. Killing in self defense is an always has been condoned in the christian community.

I've read several translations and had friends who read it in Greek and Hebrew which are some of the best translations the best obviously being Arabic which was the language predominately spoken in the area at that time and from what I've read and been told they all say murder. Now I will give you this every children's bible I've ever looked at said kill. The reason for that is because most children until they're about 10 don't fully understand the differences between murder and selfdefense. I know I didn't at the time and I know that my nephews and nieces wouldn't fully grasp the concepts of murder and self defense at their age either. And in closing let me just say that from what I've seen in my own personal experiences is that the people that say Thou shall not kill rather than thou shall not murder have rarely if ever opened a bible. They're quoting something half remembered from their childhood. When one takes the time to read the bible they find that murder is never condoned or accepted and that the murderers are punished to the harshest extent possible generally put to death. But self defense and protection of ones country during war times is fully acceptable. Even in biblical times people realized to an extent that there wear inalienable rights.
Hello and you sir/ma'me are correct. I was using what I was taught as a kid; {many moons ago}; and I did read up on it in my Bible and it truly states murder. Please accept my apologies for being so ignorant. Glad to see you are using the Word as your guide. Again appreciate the very helpful fixins' of my stupidness. :D

I am capable of commiting murder still it would require extremly much before i would even consider it and no im not talking about money...
As long as it wasn't a child or single parent id proly do it for 500,000. Who knows, maybe I wouldnt be able to once it came down to it or maybe I could *shrugs
never plain and simple, what benefit is it to a man if he gains the entire world but loses his soul in the process? Sorry I would rather not go to hell and besides the religious factors I would find it sick to kill someone for no good reason beyond just money.

Totally depends on the person. If it's someone I hate I might get the urge to kill them for a high amount of money, but I really wouldn't want to unless they had a miserable life that they didn't care if they lost. I think almost every person has a right to live, a life is valuable and you can't put a price tag on it when it is yourself, right?
If it is someone I love a ton, I would not do it for any amount of money, and if I had to, I would kill myself instead.
