    This is a complex question. Ideally, I would like to believe that everyone has their own style. However, many people seem to go with trends. Maybe, the trends are the actual style for some, but the majority of those that follow trends aren't doing it fof themselves. They're doing it to look cool, please others, etc. A person who actually has their own unique style will more than likely standout and be remembered for it, than the "others".
