Your options are odd. Either you never drink, or you drink every day- no middle ground. This is how alcoholics start.

I drink 2-3 times a month. Sometimes I have a glass of wine with dinner, sometimes I drink a bottle with a girlfriend.

hey stupid, all of the choices are averages. Out of the seven days in a week I drink about 1-3 a day. That could mean I drink a LOT on the weekend but nothing during the week.

I have a Canuck friend who only drinks Canada Dry ginger ale. He used to be a raging alcoholic and his standard "line" is:

"I only drink Canada Dry since I drank Canada dry".

Your poll sucks. It's incredibly black and white. I couldn't drink EVERY day, but i can't say i never drink either, more like 50ml of alcohol (equivalent of 2 regular beers) per week, at most.

I drink vast amounts, if what everyone else says is anything to go by - several beers a day, maybe a few vodkas or a bottle of wine. If I want to get drunk, I just drink a lot more, a lot faster.

I've been doing this for a long time - my whole adult life, in fact. I feel great, I look
great, and the only reason it bothers me is because it's supposed to... I wish people would lay off booze, it's a lovely drug and wonderful social lubricant. OK, so some people have a problem with its effects, or get addicted (like me, I suppose - but I recently stopped for 2 weeks to stop people nagging me, and found it easy, if boring) - or both. But why should that stop the rest of us having a good time?

It's a lot like smoking, in that yes, it may cause unseen damage inside you, but we all know (or ought to) about that, but we still do it - because it's worth it. I'm sure I'll stop doing both eventually, when I get older and feel the icy fingers of death approaching - but until then? I'll enjoy what precious few vices remain legal!

Amen brother I agree completely if you enjoy it and its legal (drinking and smoking both are at a certain age) do it. I recently quit smoking because I started to find it disgusting but I drink whenever I feel like it.

It depends. When I'm at home I never drink, but when I go out I do and then it's usually more than a few glasses. That doesn't happen very often however.

I drink occasionally. I get massive cravings for a shot sometimes, but I can control myself.

So anti-alcohol it is not funny. Lost a brother and a cousin to alcohol abuse. My opinion, LAY OFF OF IT, BEFORE IT GETS YOU.

I am sorry for your loss but it only gets you if you become addicted or drink and drive If you can control it and yourself while you are drinking you will be fine. Just don't become addicted and don't drink and drive I know two people who have drank and drove one has a dui and cant start his/her car with any alcohol in his/her system and the other only got out of the dui because of his/her awesome lawyer but lost a $20,000 car. drink responsibly.

Lol, it varies so much for me....at campus 4 years back, it was a fair amount almost everyday....then occasionally when I moved.. ...then a few times a week...then I had like once a week...at one point recently I hadn't drank any alcohol for like a month or so (really stressed with work n busy)....now I'd say around a beer a day currently (with a movie or meal). I really never think about it.... just whenever I fancy one I guess. So when im busy with work, exams, etc.. I dont really drink anything but if im laying back during my time off (like now/today) around a beer a day... why not :)

  • A glass of wine or a martini every day. More some days than others. After my father (who's name is on the company) comes to visit, I drink to unconsciousness.

I don't like drinking alcohol. It makes me feel a bit sick, and a bit tired. I want to remain clear-headed and full of energy.

I say drinking is not for everyone most people have fun when they drink but some dont and prefer to stay sober. It is one of those things you have to try and find out if you like it. For those intuitive people, yes I have posted a lot on this story in one night and yes that is because I am drunk. I still think straight though, just a bit slower than when I am sober.

None now, I gave it up for lent. But normally it would be once a month. Also have given up the carbonated beverages....as they say about them...liquid candy.

    This is just stupid..
I only drink when i go out, only on weekends and only once or twice a month sometimes in the midlle of the week but only rarely..

  • I have one or two beers every single day, and rarely more than that. I have never been drunk in my life. I guess some people are just immune to alcoholism.

I drink about once a month sometimes a little more in the summer.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • About once a month, on average, and it's typically just a beer or glass of wine. I get gut-rot so easily from it, so I've cut back.

Wine gets me a special kind of shitfaced! I don't like it much but I'm experimenting with making it which is fun.

If I'm on a streak, I'll usually consume about 3 liters of vodka a week.

A "big box of goon"? How much is that? 5 liters?

Sometimes I go weeks without drinking, but when I feel like drinking I can go through a 5 liter box of wine in 2-3 days.
