How many times have you been fired from a job for something that was your own fault? e.g., not downsizing but something like incompetence, theft, not showing up, bad attitude etc...

Self employed, I got so sick of working with myself I fired myself and decided to give myself a long paid vacation so I can think what went wrong.
None. I have quit a few and have been self employed most of my working life.
8 or 9 times. Technically, I've quit and gone to other jobs but, if you don't tell 'em you get suspended on full pay while they investigate. After 3 or 4 weeks they'll fire you, but that's a few weeks' money for NOTHING. Sure it's a bit dishonest, but it's only returning the contempt they typically treat us employees to.
I've been fired about 4 times.
I got fired from McDonalds after my evaluation didn't go so well, they asked where I saw myself with the company and I said I hoped I didn't work there long enough to worry about THAT.
I got fired from 2 places for violent outbursts. I threw a liquid at a customer and I punched a customer in the face.
This one sucks. I got fired for stealing once but the fucked thing was, I didn't get caught all the times I actually DID steal from the place. I got captured on video and it *looked* like I did something but I really didn't do what I was accused of, it was crappy video and it just looked bad from the angle it was at. I admit I looked guilty as sin but that particular time I really wasn't doing anything wrong! I never got caught the times I did steal. Oh well, it caught up with me I suppose I just hate getting accused of something I didn't do.
I got fired from one and never got a pay check. I had another one but it was temporary. So I had to get another one after that.
Technically, 0. But I was removed from about 3 sites. Not really a big deal, though. Guards get removed from sites just because sometimes. Not really anything I'm allowed to say online but sometimes Property Managers just don't like whoever is working for them and want someone different. I've never been disciplined so no biggie.
Edit: Wait, no, I was fired from Dairy Queen after working there for 3 days. They never rescheduled me so I stopped calling and picked up my last paycheck later. Then they said I "didn't show up to work". I wasn't even put on the schedule. This ended my fast food career.
