How many times do you have to fall to learn a lesson?

Title question says it all. How many times does it take you to learn a lesson of any sort? I, for one, keep getting my heart broken by jackasses repeatedly and forget to do my laundry before I run out of clean socks to wear. However, I will always throw away milk I won't use before it spoils and delete dirty pics off my phone when going into a new relationship and visiting grandma.

None. I learn from other people's mistakes. 8
Once 11
Twice 8
Three times 7
Four 1
Five + 5
I'm stupid, I never learn. 12

I'm guessing you just saw sexdrive? Seth Green made that movie with his amish guy.

When it comes to learning a lesson that concerns people, I could fall forever, but only because people are different from one another. Maybe i could confuse kindness with infatuation, but maybe she could actually like me. Like I said, when it comes to people, I'll probably keep falling.

What's your grandma doing with your phone?

Generally twice. Along the lines of "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me."

    That really depends.
If we are talking about relationships, I just tried out a new sort of male.

If we are talking about cooking, the first time shit catches fire, I'd quit for a month and then start again.

If we are talking about a class, after the limit of which I can take it, I'd quit.

Generally depends on whether or not I think I still have a shot at succeeding.

Why do we fall, sir? So that we might better learn to pick ourselves up.

Too many times. But persistence leads to prevalence.

I think it depends. If you just drown in your sorrow, blame others, and don't put the onus on yourself to figure out where you went wrong then you'll keep making the same mistake.

Each person learns at their own pace. Comparing yourself to others isn't going to teach you anything except that you are unique...just like everyone else.

Just be yourself; love yourself and love will find you.

It depends on how hard you fall.

I usually learn when I'm randomly waking up in a hospital's death bed and have no idea how I got there. I never learn. Shit can happen to me over, and over, and over again and I'll still do it. It's a pretty bad habit and it comes from the worse quality of me of being so damn careless. Again, it's a pretty bad habit, and I wish it was easier for me to 'learn my lesson'. But I'm still young so I'm sure I'll learn eventually.
