I unfortunately went to jail when I was 20. I was in a very bad place in my life at the time that just kept getting worse, and I had a horrible temper. I got into a heated argument with someone and this person found my anger very amusing and kept taunting me, which only made me even more pissed off. It got to the point to where I was so pissed I knew I was going to do something stupid, so I tried to turn around and leave, when he grabbed me and tried to keep me from leaving. I totally lost my shit and then it turned into the only physical altercation I've ever been in, and the cops were called. I had to spend 24 hours in the county jail and it was awful. Definitely not something I would ever want to do again. However, the good thing is that that was kind of a turning point in my life and enabled me to make a lot of necessary changes and turn things around.
I'm definitely not proud of it and wish I would've had a better handle on my temper, but I guess it was something that had to happen in order to allow me to become the person I am today.
I'm the only adult sister in my siblings that hasn't been to jail :-)
Although my oldest sister was caught with six pot plants in her house RIGHT before it became legal in California. Since she had just had a baby they stuck child endangerment on her too which I personally find BS. That baby was never around the plants and she's spoiled like hell by everyone, especially her mom.
I hardly ever encounter cops. See from a distance sometimes. Also I don't behave in a way that attracts their attention. A lot of cops are morons so coming face-to-face with one is a bad sign.
Never been, but I wish I had. Vaccines here now are for the incarcerated and the homeless...
A friend of mine has been arrested in 3 different countries. The first time he was released when the Sargent on duty in the station realised who he was, the son of a friend. The second time was put in jail for the night and told to appear in court at 11am , he didn't go but instead was having a beer in an hotel called The Court at 11 am laughing at why he and his cohort had been arrested the night before. The 3rd time in another country arrested jailed for a day and infront of a judge some time later where he got of with a fine and a 'stay out of trouble for 3 years or go to prison' warning. He hopes not to be arrested again anywhere.
never, even though people have told me I should be or whatever. I just don't listen to them
First time got caught smoking weed by police red handed when I was around 15. The judge in my town was a hardass he gave me 10 days in juvenile. Which juvenile in my opinion was worse than any jail ive been to. Ive also been to jail in dade county (miami) after my friend beat up my valet parker. Been to jail in several different counties around nashville for stupid stuff like public intoxication or driving on suspended or warrants for no showing court. One time I had been given a fake bill when selling someone something and got arrested trying to spend it. Havent gotten in any trouble tho since the age of 22. Im 31 now.
The longest I served was for a dispute where I ended up pulling out a shotgun on some dudes and they called the police on me. I was really worried i was gonna go to prison for that one. I served around a month before my bail was reduced enough to bond out. That is the one that made me quit getting in trouble. I had to withdrawal off opioids in jail that time and I was worried I was gonna be down for some serious time they offered me a plea deal for I think it was a year or two but said I could get 15+ years for it. I'm not the jail type idk how people I know can serve longer than that and still get out and do the same shit.
Wow yeah I'd be worried about going to prison too! Good on you for staying out of trouble
I dont think that carrying the shotgun alone was a problem. I still carry in my truck and sometimes on my person. Its legal in my state. I just made a stupid split second decision when I was mad. Didnt plan on shooting anyone. Didnt expect I could potentially get 20+ years.
Never but I almost was arrested at one point after some psycho bitch tried to get me arrested.
