    • That would have been very unfortunate if it had. Still broken ribs is no laughing matter. You must have been in a lot of pain

    • Did it heal well? Sounds painful.

I haven't been to the hospital for being sick before. I haven't had anything more than a cold in about 4 years. I refuse to go to a doctor unless I'm on the verge of dying.

    • Medical assistance is for more than just the dying. Most people do not need hospitalization when they are sick enough to see a doctor. I hope you have continued good health in the future.

None, I don't have insurance. I haven't had any known problems either though so eh.

    • Having insurance coverage is beneficial but it is great you are maintaining your good health on your own. I hope you continue to stay fit and well.

I hate doctors and I am an adult. So in conclusion I never go.

    • That's not a positive attitude, even for an adult. To each their own, your health is up to you.

What is wrong with that? I have been poked and prodded since the age of 6. You really think anyone wants to go back after that?

I'm not sure... I know I made quite a bit in 2011. Let me think... perhaps around 6 or 7 for last year.

Thank you but I'm starting to think that I'm not as well as I thought I was:( I do know that I should see a doctor on it but I keep putting it off.

Once for my birth control script..
Four times for dental work (One evaluation, one cavity filled, One evaluation for wisdom tooth extraction, one wisdom tooth extraction).
This year will be pretty much the same. I'm rarely ill and when I do get ill, it's usually something I can just sleep off. I have health insurance but that's really just to keep me in the clear if I ever really need to see a doctor for something. I hardly use it.

    • Sleep is curative, it's great that you use it. Have your wisdom tooth holes filled in now?

I've only had one pulled, the rest are postponed. The one I had pulled has filled in.

I went about 3 or 4 times. Routine check-ups on my blood-iron levels. I did get a prescription.

I must be because i haven't been sick in 2 years now and haven't been to a doctor either, I still go around other sick people an never get what they have.

I know I went at least once for an illness, maybe twice. And I rarely take medication.

    • Medication isn't always necessary even though there's enough advertising telling us differently.

For a cold and back pain, probably like 4 times each. I get regular check ups every few months or so that my mom makes me go to. I probably visit the doctors more than I should.

If it's for check ups because of a medical condition what does that come under?

  • bananaface

None. Although, I don't feel like I was particularly healthy. I was starting to wonder if I had something wrong with my immune system. I was always kind of slightly ill. Nothing serious, but I was never completely healthy. I can't actually remember the last time I went to the doctor's, though.
