How many facebook friends do you currently have?

facebook gets on my nerves sometimes...people post the dumbest shit i swear

I don't have FB anymore. I think it's so overrated. I got tired of reading about peoples mundane activities and drama. It's like high school all over again. :|

None. I don't do facebook and I don't ever plan on it

I get annoyed when I see a 13 yr old with 1000 friends. What the hell?? You don't know that many people...

Another thing I hate is my friend has over 2000 friends and I would say:

''You're only 17... you don't know half of those people & you don't even like some of the people that you're friends with!''

And then she would say something like...

''Ahh you're just a facebook hater! Just because you don't have as many friends as I do!''

I am quite happy with the friends I have and I can honestly say that I know 80-90% of people I have on FB. I do admit that I have added a random person and accepted a random person but even with that I've talked to some of them and gotten to know them better.

And to be honest...I think its quite funny to have 2000 but only know 259...

Last time checked was 64, but I hardly get on. By now it could be 63 lol

I hate when people try to add me and I have never said one word to them. Just because we went to school together doesnt meen we are friends. I have 30 lovely friends on fb. I dont need 600 to feel good about myself.

Zero. Don't have an account and don't know why anyone would be interested in what I'm having for breakfast, or what I'm going to do that day.

I even found it hard to tell people when I was pregnant coz I couldn't see why they'd be interested. Was 5 months pregnant when I told my father-in-law, and only coz he had 2 weeks to live. He was delighted as he only has one son, and his name would be carried on :o)

I don't have a facebook account but I noticed people with 100's of friends.

About 200. And even then, I think it's too many. I have friends who have something like 800 friends or 2000 friends. It's all so pointless. There comes a point where you're just giving up your privacy for free.

Now I unfriend people once every few days. I hope to keep this number down to about 150. Apparently that's statistically the most number of friends you can ever cope with. Some of these people I haven't been in touch with for more than 5 years. There's nothing to talk about if I ever see them again, so why stay friends with them?

Facebook friends doesn't really mean anything, you might meet someone once and exchanged a 5 minute conversation and they're suddenly your 'friend', as soon as I finish my last year of school, I'm going on a deleting spree

I have 63. Many of them were friends when I was growing up, it was so nice to reconnect with them.

I had about 300 of people I knew (I have moved alot so know alot of people) and about 100 people that randomly added me. I deleted all but five because they were so moany and irritating, they made the smallest things seem like a life threatening situation. I plan on deleting the remaining three very soon.

Only a couple of hundred but I never add people randomly. They're all actual friends.

I have less than fifty. But i usually talk to those people on a daily basis. I don't have two-hundred random people that i don't know.

I used facebook incredibly frequently throughout highschool and my freshman year of college. I then stopped using it entirely 5 years ago. Then over this past summer, I had to make one again for a job I had. I only posted for work related things. Today I commented on someone's post for the first time since I stopped using facebook way back when. I think I'm going to stop using it again.

I have 70 something friends whom I don't even talk to I jusy find what they post interesting so I keep them around. But I barely go on.

I have 176 friends. I don't really like facebook that much. I only go on there sometimes when I get really bored, and most of the time I just post funny pictures, jokes, and quotes I came up with during the day.

I cull my Facebook Friends of people I never speak to, so I keep it around 80-100.

I can honestly say I have met all of my friends/ known them before facebook... Except one who I'm going to delete.

i swear most people get on their and all the "people who you may know" they add.....its just to make them more popular but they don't even talk to 3/4 of them....i feel they just waste their time....but its just like we know you dont know like half those people personally...q

average in the world for aqquaintances, friends and family (real life too) is about 100 to 150. Which is nice to know.

Most of the people i have on Facebook are family that live in like Mexico.

Less than 50. I have a limited social circle, and I'm ok with that.

I deactivated my account, but when I was still using it, I had under 50 people and they were all people I was friends with.
