How many close friends do you have?

I like the theory of friends being like layers of circles or better yet like electron shells(?), you have your 1/2 best friends who you can confide anything in, then your main group of friends 6-7 and then another layer of good friends expanding outwards to make up everyone you know/are friends with

I hardly have any friends... Maybe 2. But my closest friend is my bestfriend and she helps me not feel so lonely :-)

Too many to count and most are female. i'm no babemagnet but girls justs seem to like me alot these days. but i'm always going be part of a Bromance. Guy love between two GUY and it not gay by the way.

Just 1-2 i can tell anything too. Their all guys too, it's just easier for me to talk to guys instead of girls.

If a close friend is a person I can tell anything to, then I have never had a close friend.

And I don't think I'm going to get one anytime soon. I don't want others to know me too well.

None my BF wont let me have friends he dont trust me. So the only friends I have is him and my kids.

I am friendly with a lot of people at school and work. And it seems people like me. I'm easy to talk to, and am pretty low-drama. But there's only one person I'd consider a "close friend," but even though we've known each other since the third grade, we went to different high schools and are now in different colleges in different states far apart. I guess it's natural to move on with your life. We try to keep in contact at least once a month via phone, but...

I guess what I'm getting at is even though I have lots of quotes-friends-end-quotes, I really don't consider anyone in my life "close," other than my parents. I don't know how friendships were in the past, but nowadays it seems "friend" = someone to hang out with and have fun with, not someone who's super close.

Maybe it's just me.

I have 5 best guy friends who are amazing and that I can play Xbox with watch action movies, and then I have 3 girl friends who I can go to the mall with and talk about boys and watch chick flicks. I love it!

I once had some in the past but as people age things change. My "friends" started to gravitate (or just up and dropped communication with me!) or started to I gravitate away from them.

There's a bunch of girls in like if ur in school a clique that just hang out with everybody and stuff so i have LOADS of friends but only seven ppl from there are my best friends

I have about 3 close friends and all of them go to different high schools sadly. I mean I'll make friends and stuff but it takes a while for me to say that they're really close to me or they're my best friend. I'd rather have a few close friends than a hundred friends I'll chat to occasionally.

I have 3, including my girl friend and my brother. Unfortunately I have a hard time making friends outside of that so there are only a handful of people outside of that who would consider me a good friend.

My only close friend is my cousin I have spend almost my whole life with. He doesn't visit me that often anymore :( I don't have the interest on finding another one, so I just spend my time with myself, but I don't mind it, I like lonely.

1 close friend! We talk about anything and everything :) and he's a guy which is great :P

I have only 2 closest friend i have from the time i was a freshmen in high school. 7 years later im still friends with them :) I honestly rather have 1 or 2 really close friends than have many friends. Cause having wayy too many friends can sometime cause too much trouble & drama in my opinion. Gotta be careful who you you really can rely & trust on :)
