    I don't really have any "close friends". I had some when I was younger, but as the years worn on, we drifted apart and there were times where I realized it was for the best. The friends I do have, all but one get on my nerves. However, with the one that doesn't get on my nerves, sometimes I feel like we'll never be "close" in a sense.

    I voted 2-3, but after counting my brother who should totally never have slipped my mind, I have four. And by close, I mean I talk to them at least once a week for an hour plus, even when we live 18 hours away, and we plan to move closer together. Friends I hang out with a lot and feel comfortable around, maybe 10.

    Well, I guess it depends on how you define a "close friend". Is someone considered close because you chill with them at lunch? Or are they close through how long you've known them? Or close in the sense of, they got your back in a fight?

    Well in any case i consider myself to have 4 or so close friends.

    I am more of it keep my problems to myself. There are some things that should stay private and I don't vent on everybody. I am more of a reserved person. I have more friends than close friends. Nothing wrong with that.

    I have a few friends, but I think my sister is my best friend. We can talk about a lot of things and we spend the most time together. I hardly hangout with my other friends on weekends and during holidays.

    I would say that the only friends I make tend to be really good friends. I don't have to many casual friendships.

    I count my husband so I bumped myself into the 2-3 tier. I'm picky. I'm definitely a lot of people's close friend but it doesn't go both ways, if you catch my drift-THEY are not MY close friend, but I'm theirs. I think it's because I'm a good listener, I can keep secrets and I'm honest when they need an honest opinion or answer.
