I am in high school and like a girl a lot. I know her somewhat and we are kinda friends but I want to get to know her more. To do this I'm tiring to get closer to her by asking her out. Before I do this how long should I wait as I get to know her to ask her out?

    Waiting around is a quaint idea that is a vestige of conservative decorum. If you want to go out with a girl, ask her out. There is no good reason not to. Some high school boys seem to think they'll offend just by asking. This is not the case.
