I really would love to marry the guy i've been dating for almost a year. I would never bring it up though.. If he doesn't propose by next june, eight months from now I am moving out west, two thousand miles away. I am in my forties and really don't want to waste my time with someone whos not serious about me.
I don't know what to do or say, should i just say I am thinking about moving when the time comes? I don't know what to do.. thx.

    You've only been dating for a year.. That's probably why he hasn't done anything yet. If this would have been 5 years of dating, well it would totally be different. You bring it up and maybe he will propose. I just hope you two won't have a short marriage.

    I think you should bring it up. If you do and he makes it clear he's not interested in marriage, you can save yourself another 8 months of wasted time. You would find out by June anyway, its just up to you if you want to spend that time wondering and worrying.
    Maybe he thinks YOU aren't interested in marriage...how has the subject never come up? After a year, you should have better communication than that.

    You should have more sense at your age! How many times have you been in long relationships?

    1st year is glorious
    2nd year a bit boring
    3rd year hate the sight of him

    If you still love him deeply after the 3rd year and into the 4th, you should consider marriage.

    Are you in a rush coz you want kids? If so, you'd better start chatting quick or get a sperm donor.

    i know this must sound mean but i think he is waiting for you too move. Like he doesnt want to be with u so insted of braking up with you he just goin to wait for to move.
