How long should i give my boyfriend before breaking up with him?

My boyfriend hasn't initiated a conversation with me in over a week. During this time I've been texting and asking him to hangout anyway because I didn't realize how little effort he was putting in, and we were fine when we hungout. But I'm just starting to notice that he's really not talking to me. So all I can think of to do is ignore him too and wait for him to come to me, but is it even worth it anymore? How much time should I give him before I tell him it's over?

    I mean he might be busy getting serious stuff done.

    Yes i know you want to have a conversation but... why not find out WHY he's been busy or quiet before pulling the "talk to me or GTFO" line?

    It could easily be that he's busy as crap... and feels that he's being nagged by the constant pestering for attention.

    the guy ignores/acts like a tool towards you until YOU break up with HIM, he's probably bored with the relationship but doesn't have the balls to get out

      I agree with ThatGuyPeter.
      I wouldn't bother chasing after him. Delete his number and let it come to an end gracefully. If he does text, you can always ask 'Who is this?' and that would show him he is of little importance to you, and make you more attractive if you're not that interested in him!

      Reverse psychology with men - always!!
      Don't try to play their games coz they really are simple-minded creatures. You're crediting him with too much sense, and trying to play a female game.

    I'd say something to him...you don't know what he's thinking if you don't ask. You never know, he might just be really stressed or he might be done with the relationship. Maybe he'll be honest, maybe not. Feel things out. Do it in person though, and kind of spring it on him so he doesn't have time to prepare a bunch of lies or anything.

    it seems like he's just not that into you. do him and yourself a favor, end it as soon as you get the chance. a guy wont ignore you if he actually likes you, unless he's doing that 'wait 72 hours before you call back' thing :]

    but maybe you should ask him first... <<thats what i would prefer
