For me it was nine years in February. But my first six years here I just lurked, didn't visit often, sometimes almost forgot this site existed.

Then three years ago I started commenting, and now I at least drop by almost every day.

Oddly enough, I originally signed up with the aim of being a one shot fetish troll. But somehow that never materialized, and overall I've been pretty well behaved.

I’ve been on for about 6 months which is likely far too long.
I find it amusing when I see some commenters responding to posts that are 6 or 8 years old. Those people are presumably long gone.

    Supposedly more wild than it is now. They allowed profile pics which turned out to be dick pics and gore. They also allowed, or didn’t prevent pedo, incest, and beastiality posts.

      Which is the sick talk I try to avoid. I only go on this site because some of you have some good answers to some things about life. And I have a SEMI dirty sense of humor, but some of the talk on this site is definitely beyond where I want to go, like with the talk about licking assholes and drinking piss and cum, that shit's beyond my limit.

  I’m probably sounding absent-mined for asking this, but was Gypsiesailor a troll account? I say no, but there were rumors he was.
  
  I really miss how the site was back in 2015. I’m sure others who have been with IIN for longer would have thought it was already going down hill, but people seemed more interesting, generally, and friendlier; everybody seemed to really get to know each other.

    I honestly not sure, his story was likely fake but I don't think he was trolling, he was just some delusional old fuckwit whose real life was so boring he had to live a fake one online. He still uses this site under another persona, and you can tell from his posts he is either a REALLY dedicated troll, or literally autistic. for example his profile is like 1000 word hand-typed (non-copypasta..I checked) essay about how chewing more gum will help you get laid. Pretty standard incel logic though.
    
    2015 is about when I really got into it, it was fun back then and still had a decent community where trolls were actually funny, not just a bunch of bitter old coprophiliac keyboard warriors like we have now.
