How long does the friendship phase last before you finally get in a relationship? Because last night, my crush called me beautiful and cute for the first time and I freaked out a little and I really want to know how long is this stage of our relationship supposed to last?

i met my girlfriend in school, year 5 when i first moved there. Ever since then we went to the same school and never EVER spoke. After knowing she existed for mhhnnn, i think 5 years we had like a school progress meeting. We was on the opposite side of the table to each other and she began rubbing her foot up against me which proceeded to footsies. after that day i messaged her and we click but we was friends for about a month being kinda flirty.
It broke open when we started sending kisses...The moral of the story...have you tried a simple 'X' on the end of a message ? if the don't send one back say 'Sorry force of habit' or summit like that.

Well if you are in the friend zone. It might be forever. But...if you are a female you can be in the boyfriend/girlfriend zone after one date. Or just tell him you have a crush on him.
See, I did and he likes me back but we decided to be friends first to get to know each other first but I feel like it's been forever when really hasn't been that long and it's driving me insane
There's no rule book for this: settle down and take it as it comes for a while and see what happens. What's the panic about?
OK well then you can be friends and when you feel comfortable enough try and just sit closer, hold hands, kiss whatever feels right. If you make it clear you want to be friends and more, he won't be able to ignore it, you will be moving in the direction you want.
it seems like he likes you already maybe he's just waiting for the perfect time to take things to the next level.
