What on earth is she getting ready for? Something strange going on here. I'd stop waiting if I were you and find something else to do.

It's simply a passive aggressive way for her to tell you to go fuck a different girl.
Getting ready, from what I've experienced, takes between thirty minutes and two hours, depending on level of fancy. 8 hours is her doing something else. Does she play world of warcraft?
