Sometimes I laugh at old movies when people are called naked who are seen in their undershirt. But how naked is naked, really?

No clothes at all 77

    I thought naked meant no clothes.:S Although, actually, I can see why someone would think that someone wearing only gloves and socks is naked. So maybe the "sexual characteristics not covered" option is plausible as well.

      This made me laugh because the "world naked bike ride" is very popular where I live. however they strongly suggest that you wear a helmet and shoes for safety. So naturally this stirs up a debate over whether or not they are technically naked.

    Bare assed and bare topped= naked. Hats and socks/ gloves is still naked;)

    By the strictest definition if you're wearing anything, even for example a hat or shoes, you're not naked. But you'd still be "practically naked", which I define as a combination of C and E. If what your wearing either covers more than a small part of your body, or any of the areas normally considered "essential" than it's not similar to being naked.

    How far do we go with this? Does jewellery count? lol. To me, underwear is only semi-naked and naked is naked. Naked is a funny word, isn't it?

    One of the first definitions of naked is someone without clothing. That's what I believe to be naked. Everything else is just partially naked.
