How is his spider sense not going off all day?

spiderman spends hours at a time fighting bad guys. his spider sense goes off when he's in danger. if he's fighting someone who is trying to kill him for an hour, it should be going off the entire time right? so when he shoots a gun at spiderman,the spider sense was already blaring the whole time, so how does he know when or where to dodge? is he just psychic? im getting so pissed off thinking about this

    it IS going off all day. he ignores it unless he gets a strong enough shock.

    Venom (and probably Carnage too) can "block" his spider sense. since the symbiote was once a part of spiderman, it learned all about him and his spider sense, so now Venom can attack spidey without his spider sense going off.
