I broke up with my ex, because I saw no future together. But I miss the hugs and kisses and cuddling. I still see no future together. But I feel very lonely, nobody calls me good night, hugs or cuddles me, and I think of my ex all the time.
You miss the stuff that comes in a relationship, not the ex. There's no point in getting back with someone that's not right for you for that reason.
I went through the exact same thing a few months back with my ex. I just missed the affection and compliments that came along with him. I bet you miss that aspect too. But if you didn't see a future that means something. Like with every break up there's a "mourning period" and it will pass.
It's normal to be lonely and miss all the affection, but that's no reason to get back together. The only way out of this tough time in your life is through it.
You can't have your cake and eat it too! Make up your damn mind woman. Stop being so flip floppity!! If you are lonely...maybe considered adopting a dog or cat. Or a Cambodian child...
You just miss the feeling of being in a relationship, not nessessarily your ex; because you can get hugs, kisses, gnights, gmornings, and all that from just about anyone.
You have to know if you're just needy or really interested in a relationship. You should test it. Meet this person and see how you feel.
