How do you feel when well off people plead poverty?

How does it make you feel when people/someone says they've got no money, or worse, they're 'poor', when they've actually clearly got enough to be comfortable? I don't mean a filthy rich person complaining they're poor, I mean when people say they're hard up or struggling when they've got a really well paid job and go on holiday every year. Or when someone says things are tight financially and then the next week, they've bought a new car, or booked a holiday. To me, if you're that hard up, you don't go and buy a car or book a holiday. To me, 'poor' or hard up means not being able to pay bills or eat properly. Then of course there are some people in the world who live in extreme poverty : ( Anyway, it really bothers me when people do this and I'm wondering what others think. Please answer the poll with which applies most to you and/or comment if it brings up different emotions entirely. Thanks.

I take them outside and show them my well.

Then I throw them down it for repeating their story. Then I throw them down it again to make my point.

    Hey, wanna see a well?

You dont know what peoples lives at home really are like. Someone could appear to be doing well but really are not. Someone can have a house but are in major debt and about to lose it. So just having a house does not mean you can pay the bills for it. Also someone might eat properly but it does does not mean they live in a very nice house. It goes to priorities. Are you going to spend money on food or money on a nicer house? Some might pick a nice house some might pick food. I might pick food since I eat all the time. You really have no idea what type of living situation they have. Also just since someone is struggling or barely making it they might have money every once and awhile. A lot of things can be bought on credit it doesn't mean you HAVE that money.

Honesty, i see no point in complaining simply because poverty or being poor is a aspect of being rather that of no finical security. after volunteering in Cambodia for 6 months i came to realize if you claim to be impoverished then watch out for the near future my friend it has its ways of coming around.
