uh.. wheres the chatroom? oh, i didn't notice, im guessing its the member chat link to the right.
I've changed it to update more frequently. This should hopefully let you not do the "post to check" thing. Does it feel any better now?
I still have to frequently press f5 to refresh the chat and see responses
I've never had any problems with chat.. It doesn't post twice or mess up on loading peoples texts.. Also the users are nice on there. ^-^
Sometimes I see what people say without having to say something myself. Other times everything is quiet and when I type something, I suddenly see that I've missed loads. It interrupts the flow of conversation and it's the main reason I don't spend any significant time there.
Aside from that one flaw, I think it works well. Simple and effective.
Might be useful if anyone getting the same behaviour as me wrote what browsers they had this problem with. For me, I think I've only used Iron and Chrome for IIN chat.
I think the chat room is good, its only thing needed effort on is that you need to type somehting to see the rest of what other people have said. Other than that there is no problem.
Udi you seriously need to update the chatroom - yeah the old chatroom wasn't stable but at least you could create private rooms, profile views within the window, etc.
Also why did you deleted the hyperlink to the other forum?
Ummm... It's frequented by young boys who want a piece of easy ass...? People who ask too many personal questions? Or, who don't say anything at all...? I would give it a grade of C minus. Also, it is a fish bowl and offers absolutely zero privacy insofar as conversations go.
