I hate it.

It depends. When I'm in the mood to gossip about someone I usually do, viciously. When I'm not in the mood, I judge people who gossip.

i don't like to gossip and there is no need to. but we all do talk about other people to certain extent and it isn't necessarily negative all the time. like noting each others funny habits or telling strange tales without crossing the line

Someimes it's fun to listen to, but I feel awful if I take part in bitching about someone

i shut my mouth if possible and i have learnt to never ever repeat bad things others say to the victim

I think it is hurtful and is generally used to make people better about themselves. If the only way you can look good is to point out how other people suck, you must have absolutely nothing going for yourself.

It's for people who have nothing going on in their brain. No ideas, no real thoughts, no confidence, no nothing.
