How do you feel about exes on facebook?

I recently saw in my boyfriends history (the kind that comes up when you type in the address bar, I wasn't searching for anything) that he'd checked his exes profile and been looking through her pictures and stuff. He doesnt have her as a friend. This bugged me, and I wasn't sure if it ought to or not. So I was wondering how others relate to exes and the internet...

My partner has their ex on facebook, and it doesn't bother me 10

I would not like it if I knew partner was checking their exes profile 32
Them being FB friends wouldnt bug me,but them searching for them would 15
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Actually she didn't change her password after we broke. I waited for a year and then raided her account and personal email account. Before that I used to read her personal messages with her new boyfriend, nothing interesting, so not worthy to keep the account. I have her credit card information, now that's useful.

Is not that what Facebook was created for? I thought Facebook stalking was normal...

My question would be... if it's harmless, why is he hiding it? He might still have feelings>? I would ask him. Maybe you can help him figure out his feelings about her.

      How is he hiding it?

Better yet why should anyone HAVE to tell their partner about every single place they go online?

Unless you're actually *trying* to drive them away. In which case... um, carry on?

Most people check their ex's page. It's a healthy curiosity, and chances are, he's not even talking to her.

    Other:

    I don't know. I don't snoop his account.

Privacy in a relationship is healthy.

And personally when I read about someone complaining about what their partner says on FB my first reply is.... "There's your problem - you're reading his/her Facebook"

Seriously. If you have to snoop maybe it's time to rethink the relationship.
