Do you like automatic toilets? They've been around (at least in the Pacific NW USA where I'm from) for a little over 10 years or so.

I hate the ones that spray water all over the seat, and the ones that flush mid pee-gross. but they are handy in the rest stops where you don't want to touch anything-as long as they function properly.
I know that whenever I use automatic toilets it seems inevitable that if I move at all (perhaps if I need to grab a tampon for instance, it flushes by itself and splashes my ass and pisses me off). I think that it's easy enough to flush the toilet with your foot and that the automatic toilets are one of the stupidest inventions ever!
I hate them because the water in the toilet splashes my vagina & I hate the feeling of knowing that millions of other have used this toilet. GROSS!
There are some I like, some I don't. The ones I don't, I do not like them because they end up either flushing before I'm done or not flushing at all. Lately though, I've experienced more decent-working ones than bad ones.
I like them because I don't like to touch anything in a public bathroom and if it's not an automatic toilet then I use my foot to flush. I hate it when they fail to flush when I'm done just because it kinda confuses me for a bit and I feel like I HAVE to push the button or wave my hand around it like an idiot...
I think they are very presumptious...just cause you stand up youre not necessarily done. also, kids hate them.
I like them too, but like Wigsplitz mentioned, it sucks when they fail. Also, as far as water-conservation goes, they don't have a 1/2-flush & a full-flush option.
I wish the people who design public washrooms would make the main door swing outwards, so that you don't have to touch the germy door-handle after you just washed your hands, especially when papertowel isn't available to use as a barrier.
I use them but keep in mind they may not become dissimilar to Skynet one day.
