How do you deal?

It's 7:30pm on a Thursday night. The power goes out, the cell tower falls over and starts a raging fire. You can hear sirens in the distance but you cannot connect to anyone using your cell phone, your land line went out too, and there is no power in the house. What do you do?

panic 9
cry 3
light a candle 33
go to sleep 33

When uncertain, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout.

When so disposed, and have the time, make the effort and respond in rhyme! :)

I'd observe to see if it's a situation that may need capable citizens help. ya never know how much help the city/town has hired. :P

Uh, wheres the fire? If it's far away I'd pay no mind and let the firefighters do their business. I'd probably light some candles and chat with my house mates, or read a book and fall asleep.

If the fire was close by I imagine the Fire Dept. would force evacuation which I wouldnt have a problem complying with.

This doesn't seem to be that dyer of a scenario.

If the fire was far away I would get out on the street and maybe go to a neighbours house if I am alone. If the fire wasn't as dangerous I would get my emergency flash light. Then I would light a candle. If the fire was like at a house close to mine I would get the heck out of my house and go somewhere else I am familiar with. Same if the fire was even closer.

I would run outside just to watch the fire burning and be like, "Whoaaa.." then probably curse because I can't get on my computer.

Go out and see if anyone has called the proper authorities.. if not yet I'd look for the nearest place that has a phone or a person with a cellphone.

I would just go elsewhere. And where is the fire? If its nearby I still do the same. I have to have electricity or I go into withdrawal.

Could've just said "Power Failure: Wat Do?"

I'd probably light a candle and read, or go to sleep. Maybe head over to a friend's house (is it all over the city?)

It would be just another day in the life of me....

That's what I like about my life, my cell already doesn't work at my house, my electricity goes out at least a couple times a year already. I wouldn't panic, I'm pretty well prepared for anything and I do well in emergency situations.
