I was researching some of these poll choices today and I was wondering if there was anyone that believes any of it.

Put it this way: when the sun dies in about 5 billion years, the Earth will definitely cease to exist, if nothing else has happened to it in the mean time!
Also, do you mean the end of the Earth itself, or the end of life on the Earth?

I believe it will end when the chosen one plays Populous II, and the actions by the player, realititiously effect the planet.
Don't you know? Our universe is drifting further away every day its a fact. Eventually everything will be so far apart the earth will just turn into a cold dark place that couldn't possibly be inhabited.
Probably levels.
1. world war 3. Nuclear Winter.
2. hostile alien invasion.
3. Supernatural power(God) ends it with mother nature.
I don't think the earth could be destroyed by an asteroid as we have the technology now to detect them very early and deflect them.
I believe the mayans. They are pridicting the end of the world will be dec 21 2012.
I'm always afraid of the hate we as people have for each other. It is the only thing we can control. Not that it is easy to control. It seems like it's a natural thing to want to get rid of a bunch of people we don't like.
Yes we can help the environment but we can't do much about the sun eventually (a very long time from now) burning out or asteroids impacting the earth or moon.
The excitable child in me says Zombie Apocalypse.
I'm still rooting for the age-old, time-tested "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse": War, Famine, Pestilence and Death. (crossing fingers)
I find it funny that people actually believe they are important enough to even consider the 'end of the world'.
And if people truly believe the end is near, then why the fuck are they still getting married and having babies and saving money and going to school?
The aliens watching us will tire of our stupidity and gas us or release a plague to get rid of us. Or, the Mayan calendar thingy for December 21, 2012 could be it. Who knows!
The Sixth Extinction will happen eventually. I have no idea what exactly it will be, but it'll be the same thing that killed off the dinosaurs.
