Let's just say you hate this person so much but you're not naturally a mean girl. How do you play the part just to make them feel like utter crap but do it in a way that's not OBVIOUS?
Like subtle things...that make them get pissed.

ignore them entirely ? I would think this is the best option for both you , what you want and the other person .
Yeah, good advice, but entirely ignoring someone isn't always an option. I've had to deal with people I didn't like. You can avoid them as much as possible though. I don't think it's really worth hating someone. Why not be nice anyways?
In my experiences, a hater can't stand when you kill them with kindness. It pisses them off because it becomes apparent they are the problem.
If I hate someone, I have no desire to let them know in a subtle way. I will let them know up front, I have no respect for them.
I prefer the straightforward approach. I don't beat around the bush. It's not nice to say passive aggressive things, but I am well aware there are some women who like to do that because they are too pathetic to confront someone directly.
If you're not in a position to ignore or avoid this person you don't like then you can always say vaguely passive aggressive bullshit the him/her, but that's an obviously codependent move.
god there are just so many ways. Personally if there is someone i dislike, i would make them aware of it by being nicer to them than anyone else which would be confusing because half and even most of the times ill be genuine about it, while the other percentage would be absolute overkill.

I try to like people I "hate" but if that doesn't work I avoid them or just deal with them in a professional manner. Pissing them off just happens naturally.
