How do you add a picture to a question on iin?

It has the option to upload a picture but when you post the question even when a picture has been uploaded the picture does not appear. When you click edit you see the picture you uploaded is no longer uploaded. Is this normal?

      It is so annoying as i wanted to ask a question but it is a question that needs a picture for people to be able to answer it.
