They'll be drilling oil from the ground that was made from our blood, guts and landfills over the past million years. Just like we're doing right now to the previous million-year-ago people. Only they use the oil to power high-efficiency torches they use to light their farts. They are a humorous people above all else.

Humans have only been around for 200,000 years. I'm not confident we'll make it to a million. I think we'll be extinct or evolve by then. Either way, we won't be human any more.

We'll all be dead from war, or just our extreme stupidity. Or we'll find a way to achieve an level of enlightment so high, we'll be able to travel between dimensions (It's been done)

Obviously, gone. The evolution of our species might have taken its course and mutate us into something else, same goes about technological/cybernetics integration. But.. I don't think there will be a planet left for us the way we abused it since the industrial revolution.

I think earthlings (human doesn't necessarily pertain to just people of earth) will be dead in as a race as soon as 2013 and as late as 2100.

However, Human(oids) of other planets could be thriving, many races of humanoids that look just like us.

So, does this poll basically say Rastafarians are more evolved than other humans?

Impossible to tell as evolution is dictated by need.

We most likely are not going to survive through the next impending ice age anyway. How we will get out of it? Nobody knows fot sure. So i guess most of us are goinh to succumb to it.

I saw somewhere that our moon is supposed to spin out of orbit within a hundred thousand years or so, and without it it'll cause mass extinction of any animal with some reliance on it, most likely destroying some sort of ecosystem we rely on. So we might be dead. Maybe it was a hundred million years, I can't remember.

One things for sure we will certainly not be human anymore.im pretty sure the robots we creat will eventually become 'smart' enough and then take us over.it will be a land of robots, cyborgs and mutants and most of the species of living things that we know now will be extinct and new ones created.our dna will no longer be recognizable.

Possibly extinct, if we don't control the plethora of things about to kill us all in only a few centuries at the longest.

But don't you think it's reasonable that we could become extinct in the next 100 years and be back by a million, from a DNA stew we leave behind?

      • dom180

Possibly. I guess it isn't impossible, but if we can cause as much damage as we have in this time, and keep progressing at the rate we do, we're going to only get worse. We'll end up wiping out humanity over an over again.

But each new humanity won't know it's previous humanity....just like we think God (or something) created us and we're the only ones, that's how every one before and after us is and will be. The problem is, we haven't discovered a way to preserve our artifacts, knowledge, writings and such for the next race. But we're never thinking of that ever, or at least untill it's too late. Thus the humor in it all.

See how the US keeps gold in Ft Knox? Well, in the next human race, they will have a gold rush around there just like how today we have them in CA and AK. Were CA and AK previous forts? Mayyybeeee.....Same with all the other crap we find, I find it suspicious that we find things in 'veins'...there has to be more to it.

Personally, I doubt it is little more than co-incidence. Unless a previous evolution of human beings was develishly clever, there are probably sound scientific explanations for most things like the gold rush.

I doubt humans would be smart enough to purposely leave behind a seperate DNA thing, but not leave behind any way of communicating it. That would be silly of them, especially when we probably DO have the technology.
