How do people eat

I'm not judging or criticizing people a little overweight, or chubby people, that's healthy. I'm talking fat, obiese people, how do they eat such unhealthy food and so much of it? I mean hot dogs, burgers on white buns and ice cream, chips a lot of soda. Is it normal to wonder how? Again not chubby people, you guys really have nothing to worry about.

Because the effects of eating release happy chemicals. Eating is effectively a drug. And the worse you feel about yourself, the more you want your happy drug. I don't understand the disapprobrium towards overweight people.

Also, Google Chrome, disapprobrium is a perfectly reasonable word, correctly spelled, and in common parlance. Stop underlining it in red squigglies and making out that I don't understand my own language. Grr!

You have my heartiest contrafibularities on confounding google crome, and regret the pericombobulations it has caused you.

Before this day is out, I'll make Google Chrome put its big white papery object on the glowing orange object, even though 99% of IIN users won't get this reference at all. :D

I really didn't think anyone would get my reference. You are a learned man dappled, with impeccable taste.

Hehe, I can be stupid about some things but nobody will ever sneak a Blackadder reference past me. :D

If you eat enough for long enough your stomach will strech to be able to hold more.

    Well it's like this...

    They eat how you eat...

    But they just eat more.

I don't think I could ever eat cheese burgers on white bread or awful buns with 80 carbs. Or candy, definitely not soda and ice cream. No offense, but its gross.

Why are you telling me this? When did I say I did? Why would I be offended?

You'll notice that fast foods dont give you that satiated feeling and you still end up hungry afterwards, whereas natural/whole foods do. It would also have to do with nutrient intake as opposed to preservative intake. Take a bag of mixed fruit and veg and run in through and juicer, and then take an entire McD's value meal and do the same. Looking simply at the end result should be enough to put people off eating crap but it isnt.

Sometimes it's not just food but also a medical condition or something. Put yourself in their shoes, so to speak. I'm sure they don't want to be that big. It could happen to any of us. Just saying.

    Honestly?
I love Wendy's burgers, I love McDonalds fries, I love mall food court food and KFC chicken. But every time I want to go and buy the stuff, my little voice which must be an amateur accountant tells me that I already have food at home, I'll regret wasting the money later and heating up a bagel or making myself some eggs will make me feel just as full as a Wendy's Burger.

My husband and I did the calculations and have come to the conclusion that eating most meals as fast food would actually be more expensive for us than our current system of going to the store, buying our meat, bread and veggies for the week and just eating at home. Go figure.

I eat fast food when I can think of a really good excuse to so about once or twice a month. Fast food and cookies and ice cream and that shit is a great indulgence but not much else. I don't eat healthy but I don't eat complete crap either.

I honestly don't know how they do it either. It's disgusting.

I find it kind of gross when I see morbidly obese people just shoving down tons of food down their throats in restaurants. It makes me not want to finish my meal.

Lolz I eat a shit ton of all of the foods you just mentioned. Difference is that I am an extremely active guy, and am always on my feet running from here to there burning calories. I have no idea how the bed ridden people got to that point. It just baffles me!

    • Those bed ridden people you mention almost assuredly have people enabling them to get that big. Those people can barely walk from the bedroom to the kitchen, so there would have to be at least one other person, perhaps more, that goes out and gets them the greasy fried foods, or shops for them, or whatever.

Its almost impossible that someone gets so fat they actually cripple themselves and do it on their own.

I can't imagine how hard it would be for me to get that way with plenty of people enabling me! I just don't get it. There is a line where being able to function stops, and diet/figure your shit out time starts!

Its normal to think this way, yes! However, I am considered "obese" and it's due to medical conditions! I have thyroid problems and sleeping problems (I won't bore you with the specifics). Anyways, while you're being normal I would want you to stay cautious and realize that some people do not choose to be fat, for some it's just a burden that even the most best thyroid medications can't fix, no matter how much exercise you do! And ps- I eat so healthy it's kinda ridiculous, and I'm a vegetarian !

What I hate the most is how women are portraid in the media. I know women who gained a LITTLE bit of weight and I know their hurting because there isn't a minute without weight loss commercials making them feel horrible. I just hate knowing some of my friends are hurting on how they look.

Fat is never normal. I don't know how they can do it. I guess it's like the centre of the tootsie pop question.
