It sounds to me like your medication is affection your erections. I was on chemo for cancer and I couldn't pop a wood, spontaneous or otherwise, for a little over a year. After chemo they started coming back often at the most inopportune times.

If you do, then you are clearly physically capable of erections and if you only experience ED when trying to perform sexually it's probably a mental thing. If you don't get morning wood/erections in the night then you may have a physical problem. Are you on any medications? Do you have high blood pressure or diabetes? Are you overweight?
