How do i tell a girl i want to be friends with benefits?norelationship

I usually like to meet a lot of girls, especially good looking ones and get to know them really well but at the same time avoiding the friend zone. At this point with a girl I know, I've gone a few dates with her, partied with her (drank with her), and has held her watching a movie and held her while she rested her head on me sitting on a bench outside just looking at the night sky and talking a bit. I give her hugs a lot but have yet to make out with her.

It seems she likes me too, but I don't really want a relationship in first year university. But I do like her enough that I'm willing to stop seeing other girls and just her so more like friends with benefits but only as far as second base because I'm Christian. How do I achieve this? Do I have to tell her to her face I like her?

And is it normal? Help please, appreciate it a lot!

  • Don't ever say "friends with benefits". That would be the stupidest thing in the world. Just tell her you like her and want to be with her but don't want a full on relationship. If she isn't a douche she will understand

Be sincere and tell her you want to take things slow, and be completely honest with her about how you feel. Ask her how she feels after you tell her, if she likes you like you think she does, she should understand. DO NOT use the phrase “friends with benefits” at any time during the conversation, trust me I would know I’ve been told that too many times and it makes me feel like complete crap. Anyway, good luck! :)

Just be honest with her. Try to avoid saying the phrase, "friends with benefits" at all cost though. Tell her you don't want anyone but her and if she wants the same thing, she'll really like hearing that.

I think it's completely normal. It's how relationships start and grow. You want to go at a comfortable/natural pace and a lot of people do that.

Jsut wanted to bring this to your attention. You don't want to date her, but you'd like to go to second base with her. Not what if she goes and finds a better man? (One who doesn't just want to grab her tits) Might want to reconsider the situation

yah definitely normal. relationships ruin everything. as long as ur not hurting each others feelings by seeing other people at the same time, then why put more expectation and disappointment on a good thing ?

that's kinda strange... it wouldn't really be friends with benefits if your not actually doing anything like sex

Thanks a lot guys, I think the one thing I'm worried about is what if she doesn't actually like me? I think at this point I'm just being a pussy about it because by her actions and what we do when we're together it seems like she likes me but what if I'm wrong?
