I don't really know what to do hence the random choices down there. Well, a girl that is one of my close friends said she liked me today and I can't do anything about it since I won't be in school for 5 days. I also don't know what to do. I don't want to break her heart or get labeled as a jerk.
What do I do?
I know I sound like I'm under 18, but I am and I need some help.

Say you'd just like to stay as friends. Don't say "for now" or "at the moment" because it implies you may want more in the future. Also, don't give any reasons, because she's likely to see these as negative points about herself. Also, whatever you do, don't lie.
Say as little as possible, without being mean, but make it clear you're only interested in friendship. If you're flattered that she likes you, I think it's acceptable to say that. But be strong on the "friends" thing.
Do NOT take the following approach:
"Eww! You're so ugly, I'd never date you".
Tell her the truth but be polite about it. Tell her that you are flattered but you don't feel for her in the same way. If you want you can tell her that you still want to be friends.
No thats totally wrong that could back fire.
Tell her something along the lines of i'm really flattered but i don't see you in that way.
Or something to that affect.
That wouldn't work and it could disastrous consequences for him. Suppose the girl gets mad at him and goes around school spreading the rumor that he's gay. I've read reports that the kids in the schools of today are vicious. Allot of the kids that get bullied whether they are gay or are straight end up committing suicide as a result.
Ok, I would suggest going on a few dates and then decide from there, if u decide that u don't want to continue dating just say u want to be friends
Say you value your friendship with her and it would be hard to lose her as a friend if things do not go well. This would be the least hurtful thing to say rather than blantantly saying "I do not think of you that way". Saying she's not your type is just a blow to someone's ego. You don't want to hurt or offend her. If this apllies you could also say that you're not ready for a relationship or anything to get to that point but if you're planning on dating someone else within that period then that would just mark you as a big fat liar.
For a friend:
"Sorry, I don't think about you that way, we should just stay friends"
And if I dislike them, it would be worse:
"Well I don't like you, you should rather just leave me alone"
And for someone that I don't want to associate with under any circumstances:
"I hate you! Just Fuck Off!"
It's ok to be a jerk but if you are prejudiced against us you could:
Fake your own death
Stop showering
Become gay
Punch her (this dosent always work)
Tell her she's friend zoned
Tell her you only date other people with matching STDs.
1st, try to get a another girl to date you...if that doesn't work, try to fake as if you have a high interest in someone else and are currently waiting to make your move. If you can't do that then tell her that you are not looking for or don't want to be in a relationship with anybody right now and that you are only interested in having sex, she will probably decline the relationship.
