How do i know if i have a lazy/crooked eye?

There was a post about looking at lazy eyes and it reminded me of my own problem which is I'm not sure if I have a lazy eye. I sometimes find it hard to look at both eyes and I think I look at one eye of the person I'm talking to. Which might look strange. Sometimes one of my eyes has a mind of its own a bit too and I can feel its looking around in different directions. This doesn't happen often and usually its when I'm nervous it does this. I think people are too polite to ask if I have a lazy eye. I took some selfies and my eyes looked normal when I stared straight but when I relaxed a bit they looked glazed and one was a little shifty.

    No one can look at both eyes at once, staring at someone the brain can only adapt you to focus on one eye at a time. That's like saying one eye goes left and the other right at the same time to look at both sides of a room. If someone says they can look at both eyes at once there not human. If u can do that i can touch my left hand to my left elbow

    With amblyopia (lazy eye), your vision in one eye is much, MUCH worse than the vision in your other. Basically what happens in amblyopia is that the vision receptor thingys (sorry I'm not very good with science-y stuff) don't form properly in one eye, and even though you can technically still see out of it, your brain ignores it in favor of your "good" eye.

    One easy way to test this is to grab a piece of paper and set it on a desk/table with the intent to write/draw on it. If you have amblyopia, you will tilt the paper towards your "good" eye without even consciously thinking about it.

    well if you drink a few beers you will see that you cant control that eye and it will show
