How do childhood crushes feel?

I actually didn't have any crushes during my childhood. Crushes are new to me.

I find it a little bit weird to imagine a kid having a crush. I mean, when I see my crushes, I have a pretty intense physical reaction to them, and it grosses me out a little bit to imagine a kid feeling that way. Do childhood crushes feel the same as adult crushes, or are they different?

    They're the same except without the dirty thoughts. When I was a kid and used to crush on a person all I thought of was baking cookies with them, playing on the swing-set together, playing Ninja Turtles, etc. Now when I get crushes I picture doing dirty, sexual, stuff to their backsides. The baking cookies part stayed the same though. XD

    The same. There's this crazy idea that people magically turn sexual at 17 years, 31 days, 11 hours, 59 minutes.
