How did you meet your partner?
I've been going through a bit of a slump recently and am wondering how you met someone?

I met my husband at work. We became friends, then good friends, then six months later, we started dating. We lived together for four years before we were married and we've been married for five years now. We are extremely devoted to one another.
It was at work about 10 years ago. The job was hard and required lots of venting techniques, usually in the form of drinking. One day a small group (8) of us decided to go to the hot springs after work. They were about an hour away and I rode with two people I had never met before and caravaned into the woods. When we got to the word "hot spring" literally painted on the road with an arrow pointing to a small trail head, we knew we found the spot. We hiked the mile in to find two large tubs made of cedar. There were two spigots, one with creek water, the other with scalding mineral water from the earth. You mixed it to the temperature of your liking. We filled the tub and got in. Naturally, these are best enjoyed naked. So here we are 8 new friends: drinking, smoking, singing, and sleeping under the trees. This was the first time I hung out with my husband. Three months later we decided to try that naked thing again- only not in a group setting.
i met my gf thanks to my sister hehe , they came home together , 1st we diddnt really look at eachoter becaus... well she was her bff. 2 weeks after i saw her , she keps ''forgetting'' stuff at my place , a book , some pens etc.
even tho i liked her i diddnt knew what she really thougt of me... we were home alone together after like a month , than i just asked he straight up if she liked me cuz i diddnt want to wait and see the oppertunity pass me to lose her.
she was abit shy , turned all red turned her head away and answered ''yes'' i smiled , but on the inside i exploded , butterflys went up from my stumach to my face and back and forth... never felt that good :)
so thanks to my sister i met THE girl ive always wanted :)
I was 16 and coming home early from a family holiday that had descended into violence. Although the train was busy, a whole table seat was free so I snaffled it and took the opportunity to start writing a very angry, bitter letter that was never designed to be sent, but instead used as a way of working through my feelings.
I was so engrossed that I barely noticed the girl sit down on the opposite side of the table as me, and when I did notice her, I kind of snatched my pad towards me defensively. Her first words to me were, "secret plans for world domination?" and for reasons still unknown to me, I said, "yes". We had a very surreal and funny conversation before we settled into small talk.
She was coming back from the weekend at her father and step-mother's place in Preston. She spent nearly every weekend there after her parents split. Two stops (and ten miles) before mine, she started arranging her things together to get off the train. Again, for reasons largely unknown, I got off the train too even though it wasn't my stop.
On the platform she asked me where I lived. I didn't know the area at all, couldn't make something up, and just told her the truth. She was very confused at why I hadn't stayed on the train longer until I told her that I hadn't been ready to let her disappear forever and wanted a few more minutes. The smile she gave me will be imprinted on my mind until the day I die.
As will the pain, a year later, of realising she had a boyfriend up in Preston that she saw on weekends in addition to her weekday boyfriend. Me. I wasn't even the proper boyfriend because he was there first. I was the bit on the side and I was crushed.

Back when I was a Junior in High School. I knew her brother and hung out with him, but didn't really know her. I eventually asked her to prom, which I was sorta shy about. I used to keep my personal stuff to myself, but somehow she softened me up. I asked her to prom in the dumbest way ever during Chemistry. I was like, I know we're going in a group of people but I was wondering if you would go to prom with me because you are a girl and I am a guy. That's all I remember saying haha
I met my boyfriend in an online game called dance battle audition..we've been together for 2 and a half years,he is my first boyfriend and i thank God and that game that i found him. :) i was 17 and he's 19 that time.

I transferred to my sister's highschool in February my freshman year. I already knew some of the older kids there through my older sister. One friend we called "The Jew", introduced me to my now-husband on the auditorium steps just before my GYM class. We met there everyday after that to talk before the bell rang for the next class.
I'm 21, and I met my boyfriend at sixth form college nearly 5 years ago. Most people I know met their partners at school or university, including my parents and the parents of my friends.
Why? He's asking how you met your partner-if you don't have an answer for that then don't answer the poll. He's not concerned about single people.
You can answer how you met a previous partner. Only people who've never had a date are left out.
