How did you deal with death

Ive lost my twin brother recently, and its been a few months now. I dont know how to deal with this, alot of people has been saying "if you ever need to talk im here"... First of all im quite an introvert, and secondly whats there to really even talk about? Seriously its nothing but sadness. Talking doesnt cut it for me i guess. I can honestly say that my twin was my best friend. It was that friend where you didnt even have to try, but you would still have such a great time with, cause your just the close. Since im quite an introvert i didnt have that much friends to begin with, just goes to show how special this person was in my life. So if someone who made such a difference in your life left you one day....How did you deal with that? How do you deal with that?

This is too sad for me to even troll :(

*smokes out of sadness instead of joy*

Lost my dad many years ago when we were both too young for it.

The upset never goes away. I do still cry. You just kind of find different/new ways to deal with it.

So sorry to hear your sad news.

I don't think many people know how to deal with death when it happens I know I didn't. The only thing I did was let the sadness out, and your right it doesn't have to be to someone else what is there to say? Time is a healer. It's a slow healer bur it heals none the less. I'm sorry for your loss

I am sorry for your loss. And I don't really have much advice for you other than to let yourself feel the loss. I've not lost a lot of people close to me and from what I understand, twins have a unique bond. You are very lucky to have had that type of relationship. Don't be afraid to mourn and remember him.

At least he doesn't have to go through this charade anymore.

  • I didn't have a twin but I had a sister who died as a baby that I never got o know and carried heavy guilt for most of my life. I didn't know it or what to tell anyone for a very long time.
    Most people have survivors remorse.
I'm very sorry for your loss. Nothing is worse than what you're experiencing.
I am glad you had the courage to talk about it.

time does heal to a degree but when someone touches your life so deeply, I can honestly say it changed me and i'll never be the same again.

I tend to believe that time is indeed a great healer.
