I am slightly less than 6. How conscience should I be about engaging a woman and not meeting expectations for length?

Surveys of penis size have come up with a range of numbers for what's average. The raw data in these surveys is often suspect because it's usually self-reported, and guys tend to round up when measuring themselves. If you're close to six inches, you're probably average or maybe a little above.
Not that this is really important. Men tend to be obsessed with the length of their penis, but it isn't a huge issue for most women. (Although there are women who are into really big cocks, just like there are guys who have a thing for enormous breasts or whatever.)
As far as sensation for the woman during intercourse is concerned, girth of the penis is a more important factor than length.

Don't worry about the size of your dick. It is what it is.
