How come i have some really messed up dreams sometimes?

Ive had very strange dreams, they dont really mean anything. For example, I once was dreaming that a random mans head, was floating and spinning violently whilst screaming. And there were little rocks flying around his head at the same time, in the opposite direction that his head was going. what does this mean? Does anyone else have these weird dreams?

    very true what everyone is saying, but i feel that some of my dreams actually mean something. i am the kind of person that there are not many of. i believe that my mind goes through something that allows these dreams to happen, cause i wake up in tears or just panicing.

    I don't think dreams are supposed to make sense otherwise they'd be just like reality.

    Who doesn't have weird dreams? I read that people with more vivid dreams are getting less quality sleep. This means waking up in the middle of REM sleep, which doesn't allow your body to get to the next stage of sleep.

    I have a dream with the same theme. I am in love with a man that dumps me for someone much younger. This happened to me 12 years ago and it totally changed my life forever. The dreams are always the same but with different men. They never care about me but in my mind they did . I stay very upset for about 24 hours.

    I have weird dreams all the time as well. Sometimes dreams mean something, but sometimes they don't either.
