How bad are you at giving bad news?

The worst, I know that's used as a figure of speech but I would be the worst person to give bad news, I tend to get awkward and nervous which gives me an uncontrollable urge to smile, and I'm the sort of person who can't hide a smile to save my life, only distort my face in an attempt to mask it

I'm great at delivering bad news. You just have to know how to smooth things out first in order to settle the person and make him understand that bad things happen. Then you follow it up with something good.

Example:

Hello, BillyBob, so... the car will need some fixing and it will cost 10K to fix, uh, you know those chips you love so much? yeah, they discontinued it.. The water bill is enormous this month.. Your dad just died in a tragic accident.
The good news is that the mechanics said they can have your car ready in two days.

Pretty bad, I tend to have really inappropriate bursts of laughter, especially for serious things.

i likes to call and wake up my boss at 3 in the morning to tell him everythins goin great

bad news is his problem anyhow and its nice to be 2nd in charge

I'm pretty terrible at delivering bad news. It always comes out so awkward and horrific because I have no idea how to tell them. XD

My skills at giving bad news are probably as bad as the news im giving!

It depends on who I'm speaking to.
