How american essential workers should receive relief

I am posting this because I swear Congress is the most inefficient decision makers ever. I don't know the reasons why but I had some suggestions. If you were an essential worker and you got to choose.

All federal income taxes refunded 5
Reduced utility bills 1
Reduced insurance rates on all family members 0
Tax credit for vacation up to $4000 2
10% increase in wage permenantly 0
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

They owe me 10 grand, I had huge business losses last year (large screen tv, new gaming computer, speakers, totally business-related travel and home improvement projects, etc.)

No body would agree on what is an essential worker.. oh there are a few that may be on everybody's list but just a couple of months ago I would have said police, firefighters and teachers, would have been on almost every list. Essential at this point seems to be more about what YOU need. How about if 10 or 20 percent of every business was considered essential. Of course to ME there are medical, food workers, truckers, and many others that would need to be closer to 100 percent. Now the Congress and media should be able to function on about 2 percent.

You assemble them or what? I used to make/repair stained glass windows for churches.

I'm on the paint crew. But yes we assemble them. Unfortunately 3rd shift doesn't have any other production lines overnight and snd overnight us an automatic 2 dollar raise. Youd be stupid not to take it. Wich means paint like blah

How hard is it to make stained glass? I'm not insulting the trade; I just want to know. I feel like the world could use some more stained glass windows.

It takes a lot of practice not to break the glass, while cutting the shapes and especially the last stage of production which is a grueling process of squeezing putty under the lead strips and then pressing the strips with a piece of wood and hoping it doesn’t cause the glass to break. The soldering isn’t fun either. I never had the chance to design my own but I wouldn’t mind doing it as a hobby.

How about eliviate restrictions on buisness to open as usual and it's up to them if they want to socially distance?!

It was a crummy year for buisness and workers no doubt about it, but recessions do damage and you dont expect goverments to fork over money to the working man, the only difference is that its completely imposed by the goverment this time. Thus the faster we go back to normal the better for everyone in the supply chains.

There should be an "all of the above" option.
