Honest opinion on really short hair on women.

Short hair looks awesome on women. If I were brave enough, I'd cut my own.

Nothing wrong with it, just depends if it suits her or not I suppose.

It looks good only if they have a thick beard to go with the short hair.

kinda. to be honest I don't really think about it. everyone has their own tastes, and sometimes it's also a business decision too to keep the hair out of the way.

I think it usually looks great. I really want to chop mine off. I had the sides and back shaved down really short (undercut) and it was so liberating I cannot tell you. Just less hair to deal with! lol. The rest is longish but I reckon I'm going for a short style soon. Every woman I know who has gone for it says they don't know why they didn't do it sooner. Well done for going through with it and good for you rising above the comments.

I love women with short hair! I'm planning to cut my own when I graduate high school (6 more months!)
I've notice that I'm much more enthusiastic and supportive than most people when I know girls who suddenly get pixie cuts.
My first thought is "wow, she must be so confident in who she is!"

Short hair works for women but sometimes it's not about the hair, my opinion actually favors short hair

Well I don't find women hot, but I think short hair looks good on women, if the girl is nice looking. I like when it's colorful.

I feel that its easier to make a look work with long hair and it also has the benefit of being more socially accepted. That said, when really short hair works, it REALLY works in ways that long hair can't do, mainly being straight adorable and causes you to look at the curves of someone's face more. That guy was way out of line but he probably simply didn't know any better and just liked your old style as you said. You seem to be well aware of the "as long as you feel great, other opinions don't matter" idea and just want opinions, which is great. So yeah, again I feel that when done right, its super effective, just more challenging to do.

I think women with mini fro's can be beautiful. I'm also a fan of the short punk rock hair styles similar to the way the artist P!nk wears hers. I've also seen women pull off the buzz cut.

Not a HUGE fan of it myself, but it just works with certain chicks. I do think long hair can look incredibly beautiful and very feminine though.

Depends on the face of the girl. My friend's sister cut her hair into something like a pixie cut, and it looks horrible. Mostly because her face looks like she mainlines crack cocaine.

Really short hair on women looks pretty bad, however I think women look best when their hair comes down just touching their chin line.

I think if a woman/girl dresses feminine, it can be very sexy/adorable/hot/chic, but if a girl usually dresses in unisex or conventional "male" clothes (doesn't wear clothes meant to fit women's bodies) then she's going to look like a butch lesbian. I cut my hair to Jennifer Goodwin's and Emma Watson's pixie length and I definitely needed to make sure I dressed feminine in order not to look like a complete hipster or guy.

It makes me sad... Some people can pull it off though.

Short hair is hot on chicks. However the cut has to fit the shape of the face.

You can't ask a website that rates stuff solely on societal rules to vote without societal rules. Humans aren't even capable of that in general... you will always have bias even if you have cleared your mind off every thought your subconscious will throw down. So rather, based on my own opinion but probably influenced by outside forces, no I think short hair looks TERRIBLE on a woman. Imagine a guy sporting pig tails. Doesn't work for the same reason guys can't wear skirts and dresses. If 99%of people with short hair are guys you will and have been conditioned to see a woman with short hair as a man and will think it abnormal and masculine.

I think if a woman has the right bone structure she looks really good with short hair, but I prefer long hair on most people

It depends on age and level of attractiveness.buzz cuts look dykey on pretty much any chick, but a hot 9 or 10 can pull it off. If you are fat and don't have pretty face, stick with longer hair

Certain hairstyles suit certain people but I certainly wouldn't take any intimate meaning from it. As a guy with long hair who has been searched by police on the street more than a few times, asked by girlfriends' parents if I do drugs and even snubbed by employers and teachers in the past, I can empathise with anyone who hates being judged because of their appearance.

Don't care about short or long hair on either men or women. Men are supposed to have short hair and women are supposed to have long hair, but it comes down to personal preference. If you're a guy and want long hair, do it. If you're a girl and want short hair, do it. I'm not one to judge

I'm another one for long hair. Very short hair on even the most attractive women, is certainly not a turn on.
Even in my lifestyle, I prefer my women to have long hair, even though it (not what's on her head, but what falls out, normally, with brushing, etc) gets into everything; the pumps, the winches, gets wrapped around lines, in the drains; EVERYWHERE! The extra water to wash it and the conditioners, etc. cost more, but all that is worth it to me.

Don't like short hair on women, it doesn't compliment a woman's natural beauty. I like long haired women. But hey, your choice.

It depends on like, face shape and stuff.
I mean, I look great with really short hair. (I don't have it anymore, my hair is longer.)
But my mom looks hideous with it. (Thank goodness she backed out of gettin gher hair cut.)
So for me, I think it just depends.

If you can pull it off I think it looks hot. Sandra Bullock in Gravity really made it work. However, if you can't then you can't and I won't find it attractive. But that's not to say that you shouldn't do it. I would think it cool for you to do something like that. But it's your hair and you chose what you want to with it.
