Hmmm...what do you think?

Well, I've got a situation here, not necessarily bad, but I just wanted to get your advice on what I'm about to tell you. Honest answers and opinions please! Thanks

Well, to begin, a year from this coming April, it will be the oen year anniversary of meeting someone. She is special to me and our situation is kind of unique. Well, like I said, last April (06'), I met a girl on a chat site. We came in on occassion the following weeks and months and enjoyed chatting quite a bit. Then eventually, we exchanged emails and talked on MSN for awhile. Then, of course, both being teenagers (I'm 18, she's 16) added each other as friends on myspace. So really, I got to know her pretty well and I liked her.

Well, ever since the summer, we really did get to know each other a lot and we decided that we should eventually talk on the phone. And I told her I liked her, but she already had a BF which was fine with me because of the long distance anyways (6 hours away). But the interesting thing was on myspace (I know you all hate myspace but bear with me) she moved me up high on her top friends list. I thought it was crazy because first off, we never met person to person and we have never talked on the phone. But I guess I can see why because I helped her out a lot with matters over her Boyfriend and that we always have a good time talking to each other. I find it amazing that I was esteemed that high. As of right now, we still chat, and we are working on the phone thing too, which I can't wait!

But lately, especially since the past summer, I have been developing "feelings" I suppose for her. I mean, I know its not love, trust me I'm not jumping the gun. But I definitely like her a lot and I want to eventually meet her later on of course. I was just wondering if it was normal or not to have these feelings from just chatting over the net.
