High school sucks?

why is it that every time i make friends with someone, were good with eachother for a few months and they think im pretty fun to be around and stuff, and then all of a sudden they just start turning into aholes and start making fun of me, laughing at me behind my back, and then they usually just stop liking me.

this is happening with A LOT of the people I know, in fact most of them. Even some people who ive been friends with for years.

Is there something im missing here? is this normal?

    Make better friends. That takes work. But you won't find them in mean & shallow cliques.

    Becuase Highschool's filled with hormone ridden things called Teenagers.
    They range in different groups of assholes and assettes,some are good.But most a So illly retarded it's inevitable.
    Also,if one makes fun of you or you ever catch yourself in a "flamewars"
    Just trow a fiery insult back and have a big stupid doofy grin on your face.Most seem to get real pissed off by this and the others often to tend to side on your side if you do it right.Good Luck kid~

    people in high school are immature and have a tendency to talk about you behind you back and poke fun and all that crap. they're all two-faced little brats anyway. don't worry about them

    Yes...highschool sucks balls. At least you'll know that the ones who don't betray you and all that crap are the real friends. It separates the good from the bad. You don't need such two faced people anyway, trust me.

    If the way your descrbing the situation is the whole truth then I would say that there's nothing the matter with you. Teenagers like to pick on certain qualities that not everyone has. Maybe there's something about you thats different and since their teenagers, they see it as a target. Remember though their only high schoolers don't let them break you.

    I don't think it means that there is anything wrong with you or your personality or that you did anything wrong.

    People are often very immature in highschool and do nasty things for no reason at all, then after a few years they grow up and ask themselves why the hell they behaved that way and the things that happened in school won't even matter anymore.

    yeah you should talk to your friends and see how they think of you then if they don't think well of you ditch them and go looking for a new group it once happened to my friend all of his friends suddenly gotten it to some stupid stuff and he didnt want to do it so they started talking about him and stuff so he got rid of them and joined me and my friends
