I don't think I've tried either. I have tried Cayenne powder, but it's not hot enough. I'll end putting allot and it will still taste sweet and mild! I want to experience spicy foods! >_<

black pepper doesn't have enough bite. my favourite meal after 4 weeks in the jungle, go to the nearest Irish or English pub and order full breaky, sausage, bacon, fried tomato with melted cheese, baked beans on toast, 2 fried eggs sunny side up also on toast, dosed in worcestershire sauce and smothered in white pepper. I may take 2hrs to eat but ferking hell is a good feed. Don't knock it, when you been eating nothing but buffalo shit soup, bamboo and grass clippings for 4 weeks, you really have a craving for good old outback western tucka, like the old man cooked. With white pepper!

I love pepper. Freshly ground onto eggs, spuds, steak. You name it, I want it with pepper.

Honestly, white pepper smells like piss to me. I HATE it.

I don't tend to use a lot of traditional pre-ground pepper. I do like the freshly grounds, though. Either pink or black peppercorns for me. I only use them for certain things, though. I'd much rather use chilli flakes.

I guess peppercorns are generally more for meat recipes (and I don't eat meat). When I think pepper sauce, I always think steak.
