Her nasty mouth is freaking me out!

I am a Lesbian who lives with my girlfriend. She brushes her teeth when she wakes up in the morning and whenever I tell her to. The problem is, her mouth still smells. She also always has plaque on her teeth. I recently looked under her top teeth and found that there was brown in spots under them. It looks like she chews on butter... Am I right to be disgusted by this??? I give her a really bad time of it and this has truly affected our intimate life... Please comment. I feel mean but I don't know what to do.

That sucks. Maybe she should see a dentist about it? Can't be healthy...

  • Yeah get her to a dental hygenist and maybe she needs more than that but start there. Its for her health & appearance. It is unkind & unloving of you to make her feel like a freak by getting all repulsed and judgemental just because she needs something as simple as dental work beyond regular home oral hygiene.

    • Even knowing this guy has been rather harsh toward me, I agree with him here. Also get her some gum and she should try what I do and that is gargle with Hydrogen Peroxide. Trust me, it helps a lot and her teeth will be whiter.

  • To the author:

If you are truly in a loving and committed relationship, let her know about it. I am happy for you that you have found love and it doesn't bother me a bit if it's with a man or woman. I just feel that in a relationship, you let the person know how you feel and since this is a simple problem, I am sure she loves you enough to fix it.

I have bothered my fiance about the things that bug me as she has done for me. I even let her know I write here and now she sometimes read what I write and we comment on what I write as well as the responses I get back.

Being honest is one of the best and most important part in a relationship and it is better in my opinion to tell her than just live with the problem. Plus, if she makes you happy, do what you can do to save your relationship and not let it faulter over something this small.

    EWWWWWWWWW GROSS u guys....
but here are some of the contributers to bad breath: ones diet, her stomach might be producing too much acid or certain meds.....
about the brown teeth.....drinking coffee and lots of soda can do that.
plaque can be removed by a dental hygenist. have her get a cleaning once in six months.....
and no you are NOT mean to think this. bad breath ad bad teeth are a real turn off.
but really, bad breath has a lot to do with what one eats. eating fruit and vegetables would help.
oh and if u wanna eliminate the problem real fast, have her eat parsley. even a few leaves every day will help tremendously.
but of course then she'll smell of parsley lol.

    Use mouthwash....

Until she cleans up her mouth it might be a good idea not to let her eat your out....those germs are bound to give you some sort of infection.

It sounds like she got vaginosis in her mouth. Tell her to get listerine and you should go to the gyno to get the funk out of your love hole.

Tell her to brush more. 3 times a day and floss.

Tell her it is time to visit a dentist or else the relationship is over. Sometimes people are bull headed and you have to be cruel to be kind.

I had disgusting breath for years. I had no friends and even family keep me at a distance.
I was flossing brushing and rinsing everyday but still had bad breath. I spent thousands on all kinds of products claiming to stop bad breath but still had bad breath. I came across an eBook from badhalitosisbreath.com and it gave me my first insight into my problem. After I did all the advice in the eBook it identified Post Nasal Drip as the primary issue with eating and cleaning as the oral problem.
So I was happily surprised when my brother asked the following week why my breath didn’t smell any more, I told him what I’d done he’s like thank god for that book!
Now 6 months later I have my first girlfriend and worked up enough courage to tell her about what I was like just 1 year ago. She said I smelt better then any other boyfriend she’d had. Music to my ears!

the smell you are smelling is probably the sweat from your vagina last nite rolling from her tongue... The tongue carries the most bacteria and chances are, if she isn't brushing her teeth properly... she probably doesn't wash her tongue. Tell her to brush there to get the smell of your crotch off her tongue. >:)

I THINK ITS MORE WEIRD THAT YOU ARE A LESBO THAN THE FACT THAT UR GIRLFRIEND HAS JANKED UP NASTY TEETH.

Well, that's why it's always a bad idea for people like you to think.

      • Second it. It is wrong to judge people on sexuality or sexual preference. If she needs a "lick her" licence to be with her partner, that is okay and I am glad she is happy.

I would rather have my future son or daughter be gay and happy than married to an asshole that abuses and cheats on them.

I know how it is, getting the taste of pussy out of the mouth can be hard at times.

    • I hate pulling my tongue far more than the taste. As long as she is clean down below, the taste isn't horrible and it goes away quickly with brushing your teeth.

Too much information, I know and I am sorry.

To be fair Bud, Ollie has been much less harsh on you than you've been towards others. To be honest, I agree with everything Ollie has said. I think you make good points sometimes but the way that you make them comes off as unnecessarily angry. If someone makes a negative comment towards you, you should just let it go, not go on a six paragraph rant about why you're better than them. No one else wants to read that.

Also, people come to this website looking for answers. (The posts that are legit, anyways.) They aren't looking for you to judge them, or correct their grammar, or slam their intelligence. Sure, I make little remarks every now and then about things that people say that I feel are particularly stupid or ignorant. But if someone comes here with a serious problem and they know they're wrong and looking for advice, it's not constructive to just bash them. In short, I think this website shouldn't be used as a soapbox for complaining about your own problems, but for relating to others' and offering solutions and advice.

Just my opinion. Take it as you will.

        • Yeah, your right. I am just stressed over fiances and so on. Then, I see a guy I once respected comment harshly toward some of my basic ideas.

          I should calm down though.

  • Stop being a lesbian and it will go away.
