I've had hemorrhoids for about 3 years. I figured out that a proper diet is the main reason people get them. My question is do they go away completely if you treat your body well and can you eat the greasy foods every now and then?
Hydrate and drink a ton of fluids. Soak in a tub or run the shower so the water gets inside and hits them. The creams help, but sometimes are more harm than good.
Know it's difficult to not itch, but if you do..Use a rag with hot water, so you're at least treating them as you go at it. They'll swell for a bit, but then come back to normal.

Fiber is the answer. Eat enough of that and you'll pass just about anything you can stuff down you throat. However when you get old you will get hemerrhoids and you will need products like that. Also, the problem is most likely brought on by this generations habit of doing nothing but sitting on their ass's all day doing computer, TV, and video gaming. Go out walking all day, do yoga, anything to avoid long periods of sitting down doing nothing.
Some hemorrhoids come and go. Some do not. If you have been fortunate enough to have them go away, then I would immediately start drinking lots of water, eating more fiber or take fiber supplements, and be sure not to sit continuously (sitting for long periods of time causes hemorrhoids also). When a hemorrhoid appears, use Preparation H as it is the best over-the-counter product for that. If you have hemorrhoids that don't seem to go away or if you experience bleeding and/or a lot of pain with them, please see a doctor as this could lead to a variety of problems.
